Frymaster named 2014 Innovator of the YearMay 21, 2015

Manitowoc Foodservice was recently presented with the “2014 Innovator of the Year” award from McDonald’s Equipment Group for innovations within the Frymaster brand. 

Jerry Sus, senior director innovation and chief engineering officer, McDonald’s explained how the Frymaster team is leading the way in terms of innovation within their product line. “Throughout 2014, Frymaster brought forth and demonstrated several unique and exceptional innovations such as adapting their current Low Oil Volume (LOV) technology to meet the needs of our Japan market; the development of a touchscreen controller that enables multiple languages and crew operation simplification; and finally, the work they did on developing a built-in Oil Quality Sensor for our European markets that improves the consistency of oil management, improved reliability, crew safety, and ease of use.”
